I have my worksheet protected, with all cells with the exception of user accessible ones locked. I have a range of cells, I13:I19, that have static values (these must not change), but are unlocked to allow the user to double click on them execute some code (worksheet_beforedoubleclick event). This works great as the user can double click on these cells and the code executes as planned. However, in the unlocked state these cells are left in, their values which must remain static are vulnerable to the user changing them. Is there anyway to protect the contents of the cell in this instance?
