Question about Validation List

This should be easy but can't seem to figure it out. I got it working on other sheets though.

I would like to have cells set to Validation from a list. Now the list I would like to grow over time so I don't want to have the list static or a set range. I would like the list to referance say A:A. The problem is it also includes the first row which is the header. I would like for it to omit the header. In addition it shows all of the blank rows as well even it I have the option Ignore Blanks checked.

hope that is clear.

Thank You

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
See the link to "Create a Dynamic Range" in the "Use Dynamic Lists" section (toward the top) of the page Smitty suggested.
