Question for Masters - poor me

hi there

i have a work sheet that have results for 5852 student and all what i want that is to hide the names and generate a number for each student consists of 5 digits not sequential (random)
for example

52224
98858
23665
78896

like this
is there any VBA code or a formula to do this??

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
You can either use =rand or =randbetween...the first one generates randomly number between 0 and 1....meanwhile with =randbetween you generate numbers between two numbers you specify....hope i was clear enough and helps you.
