Hello,
How do I import data, from notepad, that is not formatted as a table, into columns in excel?

Here is some data that I need, as separate columns, in excel.
When I get it of the website, it is in nice straight columns. Can I take these columsn and put them into excel in respective columsn? Thanks!

The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hello, bowlesbe!

Take a look at Text To Columns in the menu Data
this will leave you with some more little "adjustment problems"
play a bit with it and then let us know what you would like do next

kind regards,
Erik

EDIT: of course you will use "space" as delimiter

I dont know anything about notepad, however Excel files with the file extension of .csv are text comma or tab delimited files.

Do you have an option under File menue in Notpad to export the data? If so, is Excel.csv an option?
