I have an excel file.

Is there a way to add a password to it?

Basically anyone can view the file but if they want to make any changes to the file they have the enter the password.

Tools > Protection > Protect Workbook

Also

Tools > Protection > Protect Sheet

or when you do a save as click on Tools - General Options - add a password to modify, no password for open
