I have two questions:
(1)When you reuse a pivot table with an updated database, how do you remove items from the pivot table drop down lists that are no longer in the database? For example, you have a pivot table with a list of colors - blue, red, green and yellow. The info in the database is updated and the color red has been deleted, but the drop down list of colors in the pivot table still includes red. I want to see only blue, green and yellow in the drop down.
(2) Is there a way to set pivot table conditional formatting (i.e. alternate row shading) to resize automatically if the pivot table is resized?
Thanks for your help!
