Hi All

I have had some code in place for many weeks but now I find that that it fails in using the Range.Find method.

I have used this method to find the a cell in a given range a number of times and they all fail.
I use a date value in a variable of date type to find the first occurrence of a date in a range of dates.

Does anybody know what would influence the success of this function?

Is there a setting that I have inadvertively changed that would have this effect?

I am getting round it by looping through the ranges until I find the correct cell.
My data sets are very small so time is not an issue.

I just want to be able to depend on the range.find method.

Thanks for any help.

Hi,
the Range.Find method always well works if only its parameters well fit the worksheet actual state
just meaning something has changed within the worksheet …
See also the VBA help to read it important notice.
Try manually and once it works, operate again the same way with the Macro Recorder in order you can get the necessary parameters …

Save hazarding guesses a likely cause for your issue, would be helpful to forum if you could publish the code you are having these issue with.
