LineCounter - counts using a for .. loop the number for rows holding data, value returned as a number

RowCounter - counts using a for .. loop the number of columns holding data, value returned as a number

now using these values I would like to generate a cell ref.

for example
LineCounter = 20
RowCounter = 5

cellref = E20

any ideas on how I could do this would appreciated

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
How about:

Cells(LineCounter, RowCounter).Address

But shouldn't it be RowCounter and ColumnCounter for clarity?

very good point on the variable names

I have used your formula to create a variable called CELLREF.

CELLREF is now holding a value of $V$38

how do I combine the value held in CELLREF in a range syntax

In this example I need to cover a range covering A1 .. CELLREF
