Hi All,

I am having a mental block and having issues with excel.

It's very simple. I have 3 sections of data, about 50 rows long. Instead of creating 50 new rows and cutting the one section I want and pasting into the blank rows, I want to cut the section I want, and push all the other sections below, leaving the same amount of rows blank above. This way, I can copy and paste the section above leaving 4 total sections of equal row count.

Thanks to all.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
totally lost.

Did you want to push the cells down as you would if u right clicked insert cell? Copy 50 cells (the 50 with ur data in it) Right click row 5 and insert copied cells.

This worked. I was trying to cut, when insert copied cells would be the right function.

Thank you. Again, really simple and a HUGE mental block.
