Hi, I have a quick question. It's pretty easy to recode ranges of data in SPSS and I was wondering how to do it in excel.

I have a column A containing numbers ranging from 1 to 123. I'd like to create a new column wherein a "1" indicates that the corresponding column A has values between 1-35. A "2" indicates values between 36-53, a "3" indicates corresponding values between 54-99, and so forth...

Is there an easy way to do this?
