Hi All

I need some help with a formula to count the number of records for a city older than a specified date.

On Sheet1 I have a list of records with a header where there is a city in Column A and a date in Column F.
At present I have 2000 records and about 25 different cities.

On an analysis sheet I have the name of a city in column E and the date to be used in AD1.

So as an example I have London in E2 and the date 1st January 2016 in AD1 and I need to count the number of records for London where the date in column F on Sheet1 is before 1st January 2016.

As ever any help is most appreciated.
