Hi,

I would like to record actions taken on opening an excel workbook in vba coding. So I would like help on a code that will record any action that will be taken on opening a workbook e.g. when it asks you to update links on a workbook and you update. I want to see those actions in VBA coding.

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Yes I have it doesn't work.

It just creates the name of the macro and a shortcut key and thats it. There is no coding it reveals.

So I thought if someone can write a code to create a macro to record actions that could help me in coming up with the kind of code I am looking for.

Thank you for your time
