I am assigning a macro to a chart - I originally had written is so that a series of actions would be performed on the Active object. Unfortunately I did not realize that once the macro was assigned to the chart, clicking on the chart would activate the macro, but would not select the chart, therefore rendering the entire macro obsolete. Any workaround for this? Thanks!

Excel Facts

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
if you are selecting the Chart then try something like

Code:
    ActiveSheet.Shapes(Application.Caller).Select

generally not good to select objects... but try this any way
