Hi - I am sure this is possible, but I just can't find the answer online.

I have a spreadsheet where I need to access different tabs through references in adjacent cells.

As an example, I have the following equation:

=SUM('Jan-20'!$EU:$EU)

But I want to know is instead of having to type 'jan-20' if in the main sheet I can have 'Jan-19' listed somewhere (say in cell A1), can I input this into the equation? In the same way you can reference that cell using ""&a1&""? I want to to do this to be able to drag the formula

If that makes sense?

Thank you

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Hi hailey123,

Try this:

=INDIRECT("'" & TEXT(A1,"mmm-yy") & "'!A1")

Regards,

Robert
