Hi All
Only been dipping my toe into powerquery for a couple of weeks, and it is saving me so much time with my reports etc.

Time to turn it up a notch or two.

I have several queries (left-hand toolbar) and in one there is a column with dates. I want to find the newest date (which I think will be through creating a parameter - but I can't get to work), then use that date to transform the data to only include the last 24 months.

From what I have read, this is all possible, but I just can't work out how to do it.

Hi James
Thanks that makes sense, or at least more sense than the options my Googling returned. I had to tweak it a little (used ChatGPT to help with that ). and got it working.

Can I ask why we need to create an entire column?

In my opinion, for the PowerQuery developers, the core idea was simplicity and ease of use ... but, one can say, "you cannot have it all " !!!
