Referencing a formula

Is it possible to reference the formula that is in a cell and not the value that the formula in that cell returns? i want to have a reference cell that allows me to only have to change a formula once and it will update to all the different cells where that formula is located in the sheet.

Hard to give a specific answer without seeing your data, but take a look at the INDIRECT function.
