Referencing from another table returns "0"

Hey guys,

I'm trying to reference data from table a like so;

Table 1 formula entry
='Table 2'!J13

Table 2 formula entry in J13
=H:H-I:I

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
What is this meant to do?

=H:H-I:I

Sorry, I don't actually know why it was that- it was meant to get the diff between two cells so it is now (example):

=a1-a2

Still the same prob though, returns the value "0"

Are you sure that you are referencing the correct cell?
