A new version of RegressIt - Free Excel add-in for linear regression has just been released. It performs linear regression analysis and multivariate descriptive data analysis with high quality graphical output in native Excel form (better than what is provided by commercial add-ins for statistical analysis) and it has some innovative features that support good modeling practices. If any of your work (or your friends') involves statistical analysis on a PC, give it a look and help us spread the word if you like it. It's offered for free as a public service in order to promote more intelligent data analysis. My co-developer and I would like to adapt it for the Mac, but it is written in Visual Basic. The Mac implementation of VBA has never been fully compatible with the PC version, and our understanding is that it is not going to be completely operational in Office 2016 for the Mac when it is released in October. I'd be grateful to hear from anyone who can tell us more about the technical issues and timing issues that are likely to be involved in trying to convert our VBA code to run on a Mac.
