Remove day from long date format in 2010

The long date format from 2007 to 2010 added the day
so
Monday, October 1, 2010 instead of October 1, 2010

Does anyonw know how to modify the default format so this doesn't give me the ####### error with regards to column widths?

Never mind.

Found the solution was in my regional settings.

This occurred when I recently updated to Windows 7 & Office 2010.

In case anyone else has this problem

Control Panel - Date & Time - Change Date & Time - Change Calendar Settings and then adjust as necessary.
