Does anyone know how to not have the following dialog box automatically
appear while working with share workbook when the sile is saved.

"The workbook has been updated with changes saved by other users".

The dialog box requires users to hit enter or mouse click OK to continue, which is what I do not want user to have to do.

any help is greatly appreciated, thankyou.

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.

I had the same problem - stupid message keeps popping up. No solution, but I noticed one helpful thing - if the save command is done from the VBA program (ActiveWorkbook.Save command), the workbook just updates without the message.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Hope this helps...
