Hello all,

I had a client send me a macro enabled spreadsheet that I cannot get the macros to run on. I have done everything that microsoft has given me. It says I don;t have a virus protection program that scans macros. I have avg and microsoft essentials still with nothing will work. I have done everything that I know, any ideas?

thanks

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Actually you shouldn't have AVG and Microsoft Essentials. Only one antivirus program should be installed - antivirus makes a heavy use of system resources and the redundancy isn't helpful.

Best to talk to your client. Otherwise, be sure that you've set macro security so that macros aren't disabled. Creating a trusted location (for XL2007/2010) is also a good idea.
