Hello
I just have a general question - is there any coding that will allow me to remove an autofilter at the end of a macro, but leave the rows hidden based on the filter criteria given? I am hoping to be able to do this so the user can unhide certain rows if needed without having to play with a filter?

any help or thoughts would be appreciated

thanks

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
don't see any reason why not. Try something like the following (untested):
Code:
dim visibleSection as range

with range("AutofilterRange")
    set visibleSection = .SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible)
    activesheet.showalldata
    .entirerow.hidden = true
end with

visibleSection.entirerow.hidden = false
