need to remove the asterisk and keepthe remaining data.

let say we have *ziad , just want to make it ziad.

please advise

Your question is not clear to me.

For ex.:

- Do all cells have an asterisk as the first character?

- Do you want to delete the first character whatever it is or only in the case of an asterisk?

-Are your cells in a column? in a row? scattered?
