Remove Page # Watermark

Hello, I have the print range set up so it clearly shows what is on and off the print range. I'd like to remove the page # watermark that is currently in the center of the page. I tried changing to "show normal" view but when I do that it removes the print range.

Is there a way I can keep my clearly defined print range AND remove the page # watermark?

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Is it in your header?
Go to the Page Layout menu, and click on the little arrow in the bottom right corner of the "Page Setup" section.
Then go to the Header/Footer tab, and remove anything in the Header (set it to "(none)").

Unfortunately it is not in my header. Upon further research it seems like it is part of the page break view. I am just wondering if excel allows me to remove "PAGE 1" from the center of the page

The print range should still be active with a feint border around it. If you want to use page break preview then you're stuck with the page numbers, they're not an actual watermark so changing the print options as suggested above will make no difference.
