Remove picture from CommandButton

I've inserted a ActiveX CommandButton on my worksheet.

I inserted a picture in it via Picture property of CommandButton and realised it makes my file much bigger in size.

I want to remove the picture from the CommandButton. I tried different ways but to no avail...

Does anyone here know the way to this?

When you right click and open the properties of the command button, go to the picture line and click--then hit "Delete".

This worked for me.

Ic, I clicked on the line where the word "(bitmap)" showed, I hit Delete and it works! Thanks for the tip

Previously, I hit Backspace and it didn't work (I thought Backspace is to delete like how I deleted char. in cells).

Previously, I hit Backspace and it didn't work (I thought Backspace is to delete like how I deleted char. in cells).

Glad I could help--I'm not sure of the actual difference between Backspace and Delete in excel but I always assume backspace is for 'undoing' a previous character/event; whereas delete is for 'removing/deleting/destroying' a previous character/event.

Delete > Backspace

Not the most technical way of remembering it, but it suffices for my purposes!

Also noted the word "(Bitmap)" change to "(none)"
