I have a bar/column chart. In the legend next to the name of my series it has a colour box that corresponsd to the colour on the barchart. How do I remove that little box?

Basically the name of the series in the legend is aligned directly below its corresponding column above, so having that box with the colour in the legend is redundant.

Thanks.

Click on the legend. Then click on the Legend entry. Then click on the Legend Key (the little square) and then right-click, choose Format Legend Key, and remove the border and Fill.

This makes the whole bar disappear. I want to keep the bar, just not that little box.

Sorry - I must have been half asleep when I posted that. You can't actually do what you want for exactly that reason - the two are linked together. You would have to use a text box (or multiple textboxes) to recreate the legend without the key.
