Hi,

I am using Excel 2007. I have recently installed an addin to send SMS directly from Excel. Post installation, when i right click on any cell there was a new content added at the end of the list as "Send SMS..." (below "Hyperlink...") with shortcut key 'S'. I wanted to remove this since it disturbs me while use "Paste Special" option in shortcut using 'S'. Even I tried uninstalling the addin from control panel, the Addin was successfully uninstalled but this right click option still exists.

Could anyone pls help me how to remove this? And also even I installed addin later i dont need this option in rightclick, so pls help me on this too...

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Are there any other added/custom commands added to the context menu?

Sorry about that. When you right-click and a menu pops up, these are referred to as shortcut menus or context menus. I was asking whether there are any other "non stock" commands/icons in this menu. The reason is that if there are no other custom commands to the menu, I think it would be easy to reset the menu.

No. There is no custom commands.

I do not know a way to 'manually' reset a context menu. In a Standard Module:

Code:
Sub ResetBar()
    Application.CommandBars("Cell").Reset
End Sub

This will need to be saved in an .xlsm type workbook, as you are using 2007. I have to sign out, but I'm sure someone will quickly address any issue you have in running the temp code.
