I have a cell with the contents copied from another source.
The contents of the cell is now =-OKY.
The problem is that (I think) excel sees the equal sign as a formula so the contents of the cell is now #NAME?.
What I really want is just OKY so need to get rid of the =-.
Hope this makes sense.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Press Ctrl H (the shortcut to replace)
IN the find box put =-
Leave the replace box blank
Replace all

That should do it

Thanks for the prompt reply.
That works fine.
I should have said that I have several cells with the same problem to replace.
Can I use the Replace function ?.
Something like, =if(a1=#NAME?,Replace with
Or is there a better way to find all the cells with #NAME? and replace/remove the =- .
