Rename Open Workbook - Macro

Hi,

Does anyone know if VBA can rename the current open workbook?

I make quotes/proposals and date it in the the name of the WB, when it becomes a eal order I remove the date for filing purposes.

PROPOSAL..................... 3-10 Jones Customer proposal

ORDER.......................... Jones Order 1256

To rename a workbook use SaveAs.

That is how I currently do it. Then I have to go back into the folder and delete the old one. I thought there may have been a shorter way

You can do it in Windows Explorer. Or you can use VBA's Name statement, provided that the workbook isn't open.
