Hi All,
I'm hoping somebody might have an answer to a problem i'm having at the moment.
I have a read only workbook, when the user runs a macro in it, part of the process is to re-open the workbook so that A) they have a blank version to start again & B) ensure that they are using the latest version. On some pc's I can get around this by just using the worbooks.open command, however on others it throws up the 'you cannot open two files with the same name' message.
I've check the build/SP versions of the excel installations, and there is nothing obvious there which could be causing it (people with the same details as me get the error message where I don't) and I have also looked at the excel settings, and there are no differences there.
Does anybody have any thoughts, or a suggestion as to a way around this?
