Hi all,

I have two different sheets in excel. Sheet one has
A1 Expekt
A2 Gamebookers
A3 GWbet

Sheet two has

A1 Expekt
A2 Gamebookers
A3 GWbet
A4 Intertops

Is there any way to find which word from sheet 2 is missing in sheet 1.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

One way...

Enter this formula on Sheet2 in cell B1:

=IF(COUNTIF(Sheet1!A:A,A1),"","Missing")

Copy down as needed.

Hi

Code:
=INDEX(Sheet2!$A$1:$A$4,MATCH(0,COUNTIF(Sheet1!$A$1:$A$3,Sheet2!A1:A4),0))
Enter with CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER
