I have a replace function in a macro that I want to ONLY replace the values and not the formulae in cells:
Sheets("Currency adj.").Cells.Replace What:="GBP", Replacement:="GB£", LookAt:=xlWhole, _
SearchOrder:=xlByRows, MatchCase:=True

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Try this--

Sub PossibleSolution()
Dim cell As Range
For Each cell In Selection.Cells
If cell.HasFormula = False Then
cell.Replace What:="GBP", _
Replacement:="GB£", _
MatchCase:=True
End If
Next
End Sub

It works on a selected range of cells.
