Replace sum by average

Hi All,

I have the formula =sum(b1:b2) in column A.
I want to replace sum function by average function in the same column.
It should be like =average(b1:b2)

I don't want to do it manually as the data is very large.

Is it possible?

Please help...

Are you saying you want to replace the sum formula with the average? If so, you can just select the square at the bottom of the formula and drag down to autofill? Sorry, I may not understand your question.
