Trying to replace a value with a different value in a column of a worksheet using a value from a combo box.
When I click the Combobox nothing happens?

VBA Code:
Private Sub Rear_Wheels_Click()

 Dim ws As Worksheet
 Set ws = ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("Job Card Master")

    Select Case Me.Rear_Wheels.Value

              Case ("Double")

              ws.Range("E13:E299").Replace what:="Single", replacement:="Double"

              Case ("Single")

              ws.Range("E13:E299").Replace what:="Double", replacement:="Single"

              End Select

End Sub

Works for me too.

Put a STOP instruction as the first line of the Rear_Wheels_Click procedure to verify that the macro is being triggerred,
and if it is, continue through the macro one line at a time with the F8 key to verify each line is running as expected.

Question: won't this process screw up things you have such as "Plastic Flat Top (Double)" ?

Solution

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
You should have a button with a script like this to add values into the combobox.
VBA Code:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
'Modified  4/21/2021  10:21:15 AM  EDT
With Rear_Wheels
.Clear
.AddItem "Single"
.AddItem "Double"
End With
End Sub

The values for the Combobox are from a Spreadsheet.
I use a listbox to show values from the spreadsheet then click on combobox to filter the sheet.

I'm sure those values must be in the sheet. But how did you load those values into the combobox?

With a Combobox you need to have a script like mine to load them into the combobox.
Then you select the value in the combobox and the script runs.

This is the way it loads from a filter on worksheet "Quote Detail"

VBA Code:
Private Sub Rear_Wheels_Change()

    With ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("Quote Detail").ListObjects("Quote_Detail").Range
        If Me.Rear_Wheels.Value = "Rear Wheels" Then
            .AutoFilter Field:=7
        Else
            .AutoFilter Field:=7, Criteria1:=Me.Rear_Wheels.Value
        End If
    End With

    UpdateLists
End Sub

I used the whole sentence rather than just one word to change.
There is another new question I would like your advice on if possible.
