Hi,

I have some formulas =d11, =D12, = E11, E12.... in a row. I need to change the cell references by adding 4 cells to it. For example, the =D11 should become D15 and =E11 should E15. So there should be increment of 4 to it. I have a lot of data to be modified in this way, so is there any way to add 4 cells to those formulas? Please assist.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Do you want ALL cell references on the entire sheet to go up 4 cells?

Try this

Insert 4 rows above Row 1.
Then, press CTRL + A
Use Find/Replace to replace = with #=
Then DELETE the 4 rows you inserted
Then use Find/Replace to replace #= with =

Hope that helps.
