Hello Expert,

How can I restrict the excel cell to a particular date format.

I have a Shared worked, which gets the input from many users. I need the date format for particular column as dd.mm.yyyy. This means user are allowed to enter date only in this format.

Macro is not preferable, coz some would not enable them before working.

Appreciate your guidance and support on above.

Many thanks!

Regards,
Alka

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Have you tried formatting the cells with your desired format?

Right click the cell and choose format then pick the date and choose your format.

Use custom format as dd.mm.yyyy if you want dots between your days. months year etc...
