Return a row after selecting from a drop down list

I'm hoping someone can help me.

I'm trying to use Excel as basically a data entry form (similar to what Access would be used for). I want to be able to select a value from a drop-down list and have Excel populate the data in a table with the corresponding data in a back-end table (stored in a second worksheet).

I'm using one worksheet as a back-end database so to speak. It has one table with 4 columns and 190 rows of data. In another worksheet I want to be able to select a value from a drop down list and populate the rest of the rows in the new table from the original table.

Is there an easy way to do this?

How are you doing your drop-down list? Using a "Control Toolbox" control or "Forms" control or as a "Data Validation" list?

I could do it either way. I guess i would prefer a combo box as it gives me more flexibility.
