I have a date in A1: 4/11/2011.

I want a formula in B1 to make it the 15th of the month. This will be a recurring issue with thousands of rows. I want to make them all the 15th of the month listed in the current "date column" which is column A.

Can someone please assist?

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
or

=EOMONTH(A1,-1)+15

=SUBSTITUTE(TEXT(A1,"m/d/yyyy"),DAY(A1),15)

Simplifying the last one (based on a suggestion in another thread)

=TEXT(A1,"mm-yyyy")+14
