Hello, me again.

I'm thinking the index function could help me do this, but I'm not sure how.
I want the values from ranges to be copied in column F.

So A5:C14 --> would give me in column F 517, 518, 519, 520, 521, 522, 523, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128. And so on for other ranges A16:C25.

I also need to remove anything between ( )

Thanks a million.

Claude

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Can you post an example of your worksheet? Your question isn't clear

A qiuck and dirty fix:
Formula in F5: =iF($A5="";"";LEFT($A5;3))
copy the formula to G5 and then copy both of them down to row 33.

Select F5:G33 and copy -Paste special : Only values.

Cut the values in G column and paste them in the right spot in F column.

Thanks for this, but ideally I would not have to do some cut and paste and would like to see it dynamic. Also I have two columns A and C in that range that need to be put in a single column F.
