Hi,

is it possible to return a string incorporating a current (system) date and time in a VBA Macro?

Such as (for the time this message was posted), "20110518-1240" (In UK format).

Thanks,

Damian

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
???

Does the string I posted not work?

Code:
Dim dateNow As String

dateNow = Format(Now, "yyyymmdd-hhmm")
