Hi everyone,

I need some help please. I'm working on a financial model that reflects a period of investment over 5 years with a monthly cashflow. At the top of my sheet I have the month number (1,2,3,4,5...etc). I then have a separate cell which refers to the month in which we exit from the investment. I would like to be able to pull the cell data from that corresponds to the month number specified as the exit month. So for example... in cell J10, I wish to return the corresponding value from line 10, if the program month in line 7 matches the exit month in cell I10

Hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
=HLOOKUP(I10,$AH$7:$AZ$100,ROW(A4),0)
No that hasn't fixed it unfortunately. It just produced the result #NA.

I should add that the snap shot I inserted in my original post is reduced in size just to fit into the thread. The column starts from month 1 which is cell N7, and the programme ends at month 150 which is cell FG7

Another option
Excel Formula:
=XLOOKUP(I10,$N$7:$FG$7,N10:FG10,"",0)
