Morning all

I have been asked to help someone on a spreadsheet. He needs to reverse the sign of a number, but only the display or format, not the actual value. For example '-50' would display as '50', but still calculate as '-50'. In the same way '300' would display as '-300'

Have been through all the custom formats, and attempted my own, but with no success unfortunately

Thanks in advance

Simon

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hi Simon

Create a custom format, for ex.:

-0.00;0.00;0.00

Adjust for the decimals and thousands separator.

Maybe...
Excel Formula:
"["0.00"]";0.00;0.00
or
Excel Formula:
\[0.00\];0.00;0.00
