Help! I have a 12,000+ line spreadsheet where column A indicates employee ID and depending on options selected, each employee can have 0-5 additional lines of data associated with insurance coverage. I need to get this information rolled into one line per employee. Is there a way to compress information into one line only if the contents of data in column A = the cell above it?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
I use macros for this sort of thing.

'COLUMNS TO ROWS
Here's a macro for merging columns of data to one row matching for column A.

Try that on a copy of your data, or drop your data into the sample sheet provided and see how it does.
