I have a formula where it looks at the values in C11 and D11 and gives a result in E11.
If I enter cents in D11, I want Excel to round up to next whole dollar before subtracting from C11. How would I specify that? Here is my formula:
=CEILING(IF(D11<B11,A11,C11-D11),1)

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
you can use =Roundup()
so if you're wanting to round C11 up in your formula
CEILING(IF(D11<B11,A11,roundup(C11,0)-D11),1)

CEILING(IF(D11<B11,A11,roundup(C11,0)-D11),1)

That isn't working - it is putting it at $1 over what it should be. So if I have $202 in C11 and then $131.36 in D11, it is making E11 $71 when it should be $70.

Not sure if you can see my image, but this is what it is doing with the roundup added.
