Hello -
I know this sounds strange, but I am looking for a way to condition data in spreadsheet cells to round down at 5 and round up at 6.
Example:
$2.245 would be $2.24
AND
$2.246 would be $2.25.
Is this even possible as it seems all of rounding functions in Excel and based on traditional rounding rules.
Thank you very much for any help!

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
You can minus 1 before rounding to shift the mid point.

Using your example it would be:
Code:
=ROUND(2.245 [COLOR=#800080][B]- 0.001[/B][/COLOR],2)
