Iam getting a type mis-match error with the following

dim r as long
r=24
lbxtest.RowSource = Range(Cells(r, 1), Cells(r + 24, 24))

any help
thanks in advance

Try something like this...
lbxtest.RowSource = Range(Cells(r, 1), Cells(r + 24, 24)).Address
