Rules for Cross Posting?

I am new to this Forum. I found it because the Power Tools forum I was using no longer seems to be generating results. Is it OK to just start a new thread here or am I supposed to reference the post I made in the other group? And if so, how? Thanks.

Just include a link to the thread in whichever forum it is in currently so that members can see what (if anything) has already been tried elsewhere.

As Rory said, it is allowed, as long as you mention you are doing so and provide the links to the other places you have posted it.
