Run Macro located in Sheet1

How do I call a macro located in sheet1 from module?

I tried

application.run("sheet1!testmacro")

and it return error:

Cannot run the macro 'sheet1!testmacro'. The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disabled.
