I get an extract from a system every few days which has a column (N) that contains delimited (by a +) data which I want to split out into separate columns using Text to Columns with the Destination ALWAYS $AJ$1 ...

I think I know how to write the macro (but would appreciate any tips), but what I want to do is have the macro in a separate Workbook that I can open and run the macro every time I get a new extract (which I ALWAYS rename to "Extract.xlsx" - or does it also need to be .xlsm?) ...

Any help would be appreciated ...

Thanks ...

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
