Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction
A) What I'm trying to do is calculate how many rows are processed every
second via VBA
B) Problem is with the "x = 1000 \ (now_time - last_time)". the
denominator is coming back as a scientific value (ie, 1.75887789789-E)
Below is a recap of what I'M trying to do
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.... Using Excel 2000
************************************************************
Private now_time As Variant, last_time As Variant
Sub play()
last_time = Now
Application.Wait Now() + TimeValue("00:00:15")
now_time = Now
x = 1000 \ (now_time - last_time)
MsgBox "ave about " & x & " rows per second"
End Sub
